Tougen Anki: Nikko Kegon no Taki-hen, the second season of the action fantasy anime based on Yura Urushibara's manga, has announced additional cast members and revealed a character visual. The series is slated to premiere in October 2026 on Nippon Television's Friday Anime Night block.

Joining the previously announced cast are Gakuto Kajiwara as Hayate Todoroki and Kentarou Kumagai as Uri Torikai. Ryuuho Nagaoka, Tomohiro Ono, Shintarou Oohata, Yuuki Sakakihara, Wataru Hatano, and Hitomi Ueda will also lend their voices to the new season as Shinichi Fuwa, Misaki Kakoi, Tsuyoshi Doumeki, Kyoutarou Otohara, Akari Hirunuma, and Miyo Kurage, respectively.

Studio Hibari is once again handling production, with Ato Nonaka returning as director. Yukie Sugawara is on series composition and script duties, Ryouko Amisaki is designing the characters, and Kohta Yamamoto is composing the music. The first season, which aired for 24 episodes from Summer to Fall 2025, was simulcasted by Crunchyroll and Netflix.

The Tougen Anki manga has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Champion since June 2020. Yen Press licensed the series in English in March 2024, with the fifth volume released in May and the sixth volume scheduled for November. The manga's 29th compiled volume was released in April, with the 30th volume due in July.
