The Tomb Raider King franchise has expanded with the simultaneous English-language launch of its sequel, Tomb Raider King: End Line, across four major digital platforms: WEBTOON, Tapas, Tappytoon, and Manta. The new series, which recently debuted in South Korea via Kakao Page, shifts the scope of the narrative into a multiverse-spanning adventure.
Following the events of the original series, the story picks up with protagonist Jooheon Suh living a quiet life as a tomb raider. His peaceful existence is shattered when the mysterious Rule Book demands his participation in the 'Majesty War,' leading to the erasure of his daughter from reality. Driven by the discovery that god-rank relics are behind this anomaly, Jooheon prepares to challenge the gods themselves to restore his family.
The original Tomb Raider King webtoon, which ran from 2019 to 2023, remains a massive success for the franchise, boasting over 500 million views. Its popularity also spurred a recent animated adaptation directed by Seung Wook Woo at STUDIO EEK, which is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. With Ize Press continuing to release the original webtoon in print—having published the 14th volume this past April—the arrival of End Line solidifies the series' ongoing dominance in the digital comics space.
