Tokyopop revealed several new manga licenses during its panel at Anime Expo on Sunday. Among the newly acquired titles is Love at First Howl by Nasubitaka.
The manga centers on Tama, a human raised by wolves capable of shapeshifting into human form. Tama's life is intertwined with his wolf childhood friend, Tatsu, who has learned to transform to be closer to Tama. As Tatsu prepares to take over leadership of the wolf pack, he makes a startling declaration to Tama, questioning their platonic bond and hinting at a romantic future.
Tokyopop has not yet announced a release date for Love at First Howl or the other titles revealed at the event. Further details on the full list of licensed works are expected to be shared by the publisher soon.
