The third trailer for Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc has dropped, officially setting the premiere for October 2. This latest installment in the popular time-traveling delinquent saga will stream globally on Disney+, excluding mainland China. The trailer offers a glimpse at the arc's narrative, which picks up after the conclusion of the Tokyo Manji Gang vs. Tenjiku conflict, and reveals updated character designs for key figures like Mikey and Haruchiyo Sanzu.
The new arc, also known as Tokyo Revengers: Santen Sensō-hen, will first air on MBS, TBS, and CBC in Japan late on October 2 (effectively October 3 at 1:53 a.m.), with subsequent broadcasts on BS-TBS and AT-X. The story will delve into a future era dominated by three major gangs, as Takemichi Hanagaki grapples with the truth behind time leaps and seeks a future where Hinata Tachibana is alive.
Directing the new arc is Maki Kodaira at LIDEN FILMS, taking over from Kōichi Hatsumi, who will now oversee series scripts. The cast sees Mariya Ise as Senju Kawaragi, alongside Naoyuki Shimozuru as Takeomi Akashi, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Wakasa Imaushi, Takanori Hoshino as Keizo Arashi, and Hiroki Yasumoto as South Terano. Several key staff members return, including scriptwriter Yasuyuki Mutō and composer Hiroaki Tsutsumi.
Tokyo Revengers, based on Ken Wakui's manga, has previously aired two seasons, with the latest season, Tenjiku Arc, also streaming on Disney+. The franchise has also spawned successful live-action films and a mini-anime series, Dōwa Revengers.
