Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc has locked in its premiere for October 2, with the production team confirming that the boy band JO1 will perform the new opening theme, "IGNITE." To build momentum ahead of the broadcast, advance screenings are scheduled for September 6 at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo and September 21 at TOHO CINEMAS Namba in Osaka.
The production sees a notable change in leadership at LIDEN FILMS. Maki Kodaira, who previously worked on The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, has taken over as director, replacing Kōichi Hatsumi. While Hatsumi transitions into a role collaborating on series scripts, the production team has also expanded to include Airi Tsuyuki and Kae Takakura as character designers, alongside Kōji Ietaka as the new compositing director of photography.
This arc introduces several pivotal characters to the fray, with a cast list featuring Mariya Ise as Senju Kawaragi, Naoyuki Shimozuru as Takeomi Akashi, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Wakasa Imaushi, Takanori Hoshino as Keizo Arashi, and Hiroki Yasumoto as South Terano. The story picks up as Takemichi Hanagaki navigates a volatile future defined by the "Three Titans" era, where three rival factions clash for dominance.
Following the distribution pattern of the Tenjiku Arc, this season will stream exclusively on Disney+ globally, with the exception of China. The series continues to draw from Ken Wakui’s original manga, which concluded its five-year run in 2022 and maintains a strong footprint in the industry through both its main anime adaptations and the Dōwa Revengers shorts.
