Leadership behind the camera has shifted, with Maki Kodaira (known for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse) stepping in as director at LIDEN FILMS, taking over from Kōichi Hatsumi. The production has also bolstered its voice cast to accommodate the new narrative, adding Mariya Ise as Senju Kawaragi, alongside Naoyuki Shimozuru, Shinnosuke Tachibana, Takanori Hoshino, and Hiroki Yasumoto. The story picks up following the brutal conclusion of the conflict between the Tokyo Manji Gang and Tenjiku. As Takemichi navigates the complexities of the timeline and Mikey faces a pivotal choice, the narrative shifts into the era of the "Three Titans." The new season will be supported by an opening theme from the boy band JO1 titled "IGNITE," with the ending theme "TRICK STAR" provided by go!go!vanillas.
For those eager to get a head start, advance screening events are slated for September 6 at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills and September 21 at TOHO CINEMAS Namba.
