Tokyo Mew Mew New ♡ is now streaming in its entirety on HIDIVE, offering both English dub and subtitle options. This 12-episode series is a modern reboot of the 2000s magical girl franchise, produced to commemorate the manga's 20th anniversary.
The story follows Ichigo Momomiya, a high school girl who, after an incident during a school trip, gains the ability to transform into Mew Ichigo. Alongside four other girls, she becomes part of the Tokyo Mew Mews, tasked with protecting the Earth from alien invaders known as the Deep Blue.
Animated by Graphinica and Yumeta Company, the series updates the visual style for a contemporary audience while retaining the core elements of urban fantasy, romance, and superhero action that defined the original Tokyo Mew Mew.
