Netflix has added Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, a four-episode OVA series spun off from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable. The series follows manga artist Rohan Kishibe, whose Stand 'Heaven's Door' allows him to read minds and turn people into living books, often leading him to uncover supernatural phenomena.

David Production, the studio responsible for the main JoJo anime, brings these standalone tales to life. Each episode presents a distinct urban legend or supernatural mystery, highlighting Rohan's investigative prowess and the often body-horror-infused consequences of his powers.

Originally released sporadically between 2017 and 2020, the four episodes were eventually bundled for home media. This anthology format allows for a diverse range of unsettling narratives, from encounters with cursed objects to chilling tales of vengeful spirits.

With a MAL score of 7.61, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan offers a self-contained dose of the bizarre and supernatural. The episodic structure and focus on Rohan's unique abilities make it an accessible, albeit often disturbing, exploration of urban fantasy.
