Square Enix has announced that Mochimaru Sakaki's fantasy light novel series, The World's Strongest Witch: I'm Starting My Free Life in a World Where Only I Can See the Online Strategy Guide (Sekai Saikyō no Majo, Hajimemashita: Watashi dake "Kōryaku Site" o Mireru Sekai de Jiyū ni Ikimasu), is receiving a television anime adaptation. The series is slated to premiere in October.
Azusa Tachibana will voice the lead character, Rona Hermit. The anime is being directed by Jōji Furuta, known for his work on shows like ēlDLIVE and Double Decker! Doug & Kirill. Animation duties will be handled by studios Bridge and Aisle. Shoji Yonemura, who has worked on Pokémon Journeys: The Series and One Piece, is writing the scripts, with character designs by Yūki Morimoto of Cardfight!! Vanguard GZ fame.
Yen Press is releasing the light novels in English, with the second volume having arrived on April 14. The story follows Lorna, who is cast out by her family after manifesting a seemingly useless ability. However, she discovers her SSS-Rank skill, "Internet," allows her to access a wealth of knowledge, gather valuable items, and obtain rare equipment, setting her on a path of freedom.
The original story began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in May 2022. Square Enix published the first print novel volume in December 2022, with illustrations by riritto. The fifth volume shipped in May 2025. A manga adaptation by Tamaki Toga launched in May 2023, and its 11th compiled volume was released on February 9, with the 12th volume due May 8.
