A new promotional video released for the upcoming The World's Strongest Witch anime has unveiled two additions to its voice cast. The video showcases Fairouz Ai as Erimina, the guild master known as the "Inferno Witch," and Honoka Inoue as Eruna, an elven princess concerned for her ailing mother.
These new cast members join Azusa Tachibana, who was previously announced as the voice of the protagonist, Rona Hermit. The series, adapted from Mochimaru Sakaki's light novels, follows Lorna, who is ostracized for a seemingly useless ability but discovers she can use her "Internet" skill to gain immense power and resources in a new world.
Directed by Jōji Furuta and animated by studios Bridge and Aisle, The World's Strongest Witch is slated for an October premiere. Shoji Yonemura is handling series scripts, with character designs by Yūki Morimoto. Yen Press is publishing the light novels in English, with the second volume released in April.
Sakaki's original story began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in May 2022, with the first print volume published by Square Enix in December 2022. A manga adaptation by Tamaki Toga also launched in May 2023.
