The second promotional video for the upcoming anime adaptation of The World's Strongest Rearguard - Labyrinth Country's Novice Seeker has arrived, offering a preview of the show's musical themes. The new trailer showcases the opening theme, "license," performed by Redhair Rosy, and the ending theme, "Owaranai Yoru no Mamori-kata" (How to Protect the Endless Night), by Inner Journey.

The series, animated by Maho Film with Yūji Yanase directing, is set to premiere on July 5 on Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m. JST, with subsequent broadcasts on BS11 and Sun TV. International viewers can catch the series on Crunchyroll as it airs.

The cast includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as the protagonist Arihito, alongside Aoi Koga as Theresia, Sakura Nakamura as Kyōka, Yui Ishikawa as Elitia, Saori Hayami as Suzuna, Kaede Hondo as Misaki, Kanon Takao as Madoka, and Yuka Aisaka as Melissa. The story follows Arihito, who after dying as a corporate slave, is reborn into a fantasy world as a "Seeker" and takes on the "rearguard" job class. This role allows him to provide critical support to his all-female party while also increasing their affection for him.

The World's Strongest Rearguard - Labyrinth Country's Novice Seeker light novels, written by Tōwa and illustrated by Huuka Kazabana, began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2017 and were published by Kadokawa starting in November 2017. A manga adaptation by Rikizo launched on Comic Walker in March 2018. Yen Press is handling the English localizations for both the light novels and the manga. Source: Anime News Network
