Crunchyroll has launched the English dubs for two new anime series: The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King and Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 5. The fantasy romance The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King, adapted from Noriaki Kotoba's manga, features Madeleine Norton as Serafina and Cris George as Veor. The production team includes producer Samantha Herek and voice director Caitlin Glass.
The series, which debuted in April after a delay from its original October 2025 premiere, follows the strongest female knight in the West, Serafina, who is captured by a barbarian tribe and unexpectedly offered marriage to their king. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English as The Barbarian's Bride. The anime is produced by Jumondou and airs internationally on Crunchyroll, excluding Japan and mainland China.
Additionally, the English dub for Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 5 is now streaming. The cast includes returning actors like Alex Mai as Kazuya and Celeste Perez as Chizuru. Jerry Jewell returns as voice director for this season. This fifth season is technically the second cour of the previously aired fourth season, which concluded in September.
Rent-A-Girlfriend follows Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who turns to rental girlfriends after a bad breakup. The series, based on Reiji Miyajima's manga, began its anime adaptation in July 2020. Crunchyroll also streamed the previous seasons internationally.
