The staff behind The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King anime has unveiled a new visual and promotional video offering a glimpse at the series' climax. The final episode of the adaptation is scheduled to air on June 25.

The anime, which premiered on April 9, is currently airing on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and Kansai TV. Crunchyroll is handling international streaming for the series outside of Japan and mainland China, and has also produced an English dub.

Directed by Takayuki Tanaka at Jumondou, the series adapts Noriaki Kotoba's manga. Miya Asakawa is responsible for series scripts, with Masayoshi Kikuchi, Mayumi Fujita, and Hajime Hatakeyama handling character design and chief animation direction. Arisa Okehazama composed the music, and the opening theme is "Beautiful" by Mayu Maeshima, with sajou no hana performing the ending theme "Shiru Beki Koto."

Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English as The Barbarian's Bride, describing the story of knight Serafina de Lavillant who is captured by a barbarian tribe and unexpectedly offered marriage to their leader. Kodansha launched the manga in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in January 2021, with the 11th volume shipping on April 9.
