The Villager of Level 999 is adding two veteran voices to its ensemble as the series approaches its eighth episode. The production team confirmed that Yōji Ueda will provide the voice for Militaria Remote, while Tetsu Inada is set to portray the Dark Dragon. Both characters are scheduled to make their first appearance when the episode airs next Thursday.
Directed by Yoshinobu Kasai at Brain's Base, the series adapts the light novel premise of a world where one's societal role is divinely ordained. While the population is generally restricted to levels 1 through 5, the protagonist Koji Kagami defies the limitations of his "villager" class by reaching level 999. His journey toward bridging the divide between humans and demons alongside the demon lord's daughter, Alice, forms the core of the narrative.
This adaptation of Koneko Hoshitsuki's work, which also features a long-running manga serialization in Comp Ace, is currently available to international viewers via Crunchyroll. The series continues to build on the established lore of the Earthqualia setting, where the rigid hierarchy of roles—ranging from Warriors to Sages—defines every individual's potential.
