The Vermilion Mask anime adaptation has unveiled its first main trailer, featuring English subtitles, alongside its principal cast. The series is slated for an October 2026 premiere and will run for two cours, with Crunchyroll set to stream it.
The newly revealed voice cast includes Taihi Kimura as Peru d'Arrest, Yūki Yamamoto as Sonarue Maywood, Kazuki Ura as Mok Sharib, and Takanori Hoshino as Gouon. Wataru Komada will voice Totoque, Junya Enoki takes on Zent, Kazuhiko Inoue is Gaston, and Akio Ōtsuka voices the Mask of the Warrior God.
Directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe (BLUELOCK season 1) at 100Studio, the anime follows Peru, an apprentice mask maker who, after a tragic incident involving a cursed mask, embarks on a quest to destroy legendary masks created by his former master. The story promises a redemption battle with world-altering stakes.
The manga, created by Dr.Poro and Nabana Naba, began serialization in Shōnengahōsha's Young King Ours magazine in February 2021. The eighth compiled volume was published in July 2025. The series is also published in English digitally by Orange's emaqi platform.
