The The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses manga is taking a temporary break from serialization. The announcement came via the series' official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that the hiatus is due to artist Yukiji Setsuda's health. The manga's final chapter before the break will appear in Thursday's issue of Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion. The magazine will later announce when the series will resume.

Written by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Setsuda, the manga follows Toto, a hero gifted with strength but hindered by extreme shyness, making it difficult to assemble a party. His situation changes when three women—Ciel, Anemone, and Gore—approach him, ostensibly to join his quest. However, their true objective is to assassinate him.

The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses began its run in Weekly Shōnen Champion in October 2022. Akita Shoten released the 15th collected volume of the manga on April 8. The series also received a television anime adaptation in Summer 2025, produced by Connect and featuring 12 episodes.
