The original anime film The Ribbon Hero has revealed a second trailer, along with new cast additions and its theme song. The movie, a new adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's classic manga Ribbon no Kishi (Princess Knight), is set to premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix on August 8.

Joining the previously announced cast are Seiran Kobayashi as Pine, Kouki Uchiyama as Velvet, and Mayumi Shintani as Zirco. The trailer also offers a glimpse of the opening theme, "Reborn," performed by the Japanese-Korean group Girls Archives.

Directed by Yuuki Igarashi, known for his work on Star Wars: Visions, the anime is being produced at Studio Outline. Issei Arakaki is handling character design adaptation based on Kei Mochizuki's original concepts. Tezuka's influential adventure fantasy manga originally ran from 1953 to 1956, and was previously adapted into a 52-episode television anime by Mushi Production in the late 1960s.
