Twin Engine has released the second trailer for its upcoming anime film, The Ribbon Hero. The new preview introduces additional cast members and previews the film's theme song, "Reborn," performed by the group Girls Archives.

The trailer reveals Seiran Kobayashi as Sapphire's friend Pine, Kōki Uchiyama as Velvet, a leader in the religious group Mitra, and Mayumi Shintani as Sapphire's elderly attendant Zirco. The film stars Saya of the comedy duo Lalande as Sapphire, marking her first leading role in an animated feature.

Directed by Yuuki Igarashi at his new studio OUTLINE, The Ribbon Hero is based on Osamu Tezuka's classic manga Princess Knight. The story follows Sapphire, the princess of a destroyed kingdom, who finds hope in Goldland but must confront the same calamity that devastated her homeland. The production staff includes character designer Kei Mochizuki, with animation character design by Issei Arakaki. Music composition is handled by Satoru Kōsaki and Ryūichi Takada of MONACA.

The Ribbon Hero is set to premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix on August 8. The film will also be showcased in the non-competitive "Annecy Presents" section at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
