The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Kesshō Member Ketteisen is officially hitting the court this fall, with a premiere scheduled for September 30 on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and TV Aichi. Serving as the direct follow-up to the U-17 World Cup Semifinal arc that aired in 2024, this new installment shifts the focus to the high-stakes selection process for the Japanese team as they prepare to face off against Spain.

A newly released promotional video offers a glimpse at the upcoming matches, accompanied by the series' new opening theme, "Walls And Bridges," performed by the four-member unit Aozu. The unit, consisting of voice actors Junko Minagawa, Ryōtarō Okiayu, Yuki Kaida, and Takayuki Kondō, continues a long-standing tradition of character-led musical contributions to the franchise.

The production team also confirmed four new additions to the cast, all portraying members of the Spanish national team: Tasuku Hatanaka will voice Julio Roman, Reiji Kawashima joins as Mars de Colón, Ryūho Nagaoka plays Silva Serra Banbieri, and Megumi Han rounds out the newcomers as Sedah. They join previously announced actor Yū Shirota, who voices the Spanish player Romeo Fernandez.

This sequel continues the momentum for the long-running franchise, which has seen a resurgence in its television presence since the 2022 premiere of the U-17 World Cup series. With creator Takeshi Konomi planning to conclude the original The New Prince of Tennis manga serialization in the near future, this anime arc represents a critical juncture in the adaptation of the series' epic final tournament arc.
