North American audiences will soon get their chance to see The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE - Yotsuba Succession Arc - on the big screen. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have confirmed a limited theatrical run for the film across the United States and Canada, scheduled for November 1, 3, and 4. Viewers will have the choice between English-subtitled and English-dubbed screenings.

The film, which serves as a direct follow-up to the third television season that aired earlier in 2024, adapts a pivotal arc from Tsutomu Satou’s long-running light novel series. The production sees Jimmy Stone in the director’s chair at studio 8-Bit, with Taku Iwasaki returning to handle the musical score and LiSA providing the theme song, "YES."

Returning to their iconic roles are Yūichi Nakamura as Tatsuya Shiba and Saori Hayami as Miyuki Shiba, alongside Chiwa Saitō as Maya Yotsuba. The cast also expands with the addition of Daisuke Ono as Katsushige Shibata and Ai Kayano as Yuuka Tsukuba.

This theatrical release continues a busy era for the franchise, which has seen a steady stream of adaptations since the original light novels concluded in 2020. While the series maintains a dedicated following, this film represents a crucial adaptation for fans of the source material, specifically focusing on the internal power dynamics of the Yotsuba clan.
