Studio Ponoc, the acclaimed animation house founded by former Ghibli producers, has released its latest feature film, "The Imaginary," on Netflix. Available with English dub and subtitles, the movie adapts A.F. Harrold's 2014 British children's novel.

The film follows a young boy named Rudger who can see his imaginary friend, Amanda. Their world is turned upside down when Amanda is suddenly forgotten by everyone but Rudger, forcing them on a journey to save her from disappearing forever.

"The Imaginary" blends traditional hand-drawn animation with digital techniques, a hallmark of Studio Ponoc's work. While its MAL score sits at 7.21, the film offers a visually rich fantasy adventure for those seeking a new animated feature on the streaming platform.
