The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World anime has officially announced its second season, slated for an October debut. The news comes with the launch of a new website for the series.
Returning to helm the production is director Masahiro Takata, who will also resume his roles as head writer and sound director. Animation production shifts to Zero-G, with Cloud Hearts having animated the first season. The writing team sees additions like Takahito ÅŒnishi, while Mariko Kawamoto joins as the new character designer, replacing Makoto Shimojima. The main cast remains intact, with Junya Enoki as Ray White, Iori Saeki as Amelia Ros, and Akira Sekine as Ariane Olgren reprising their performances.
The first season of the fantasy school anime, which adapts Nana Mikoshiba's light novels, premiered in January 2023 and was streamed by Crunchyroll. The original manga adaptation by Norihito Sasaki concluded in January 2024.
The Arnold Academy of Magic is the setting for Ray White, a seemingly ordinary student with no apparent magical talent, despite rumors of the legendary Iceblade Sorcerer being among the new students.
