The second season of The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World has expanded its cast ahead of its upcoming debut. The production team confirmed that Shiki Aoki will voice Maria Bradley, the younger sister of Rebecca, while Kazuyuki Okitsu will take on the role of Marius Basset, one of the Seven Great Magicians.

These additions join a returning ensemble led by Junya Enoki as Ray White. The production has also seen a significant shift behind the scenes, with studio Zero-G taking over animation duties from the first season's studio, Cloud Hearts. Masahiro Takata remains in the director's chair and continues to oversee series composition, while Mariko Kawamoto steps in as the new character designer.

The series is set to begin its broadcast run on October 8 at 1:23 a.m. on TBS, with a subsequent airing on BS11 the following night. International viewers can follow the new season via Crunchyroll, which has confirmed it will stream the episodes as they air in Japan.

With the manga adaptation concluding earlier this year in January 2024, the anime serves as the primary ongoing medium for the franchise. The transition to Zero-G for the animation production marks a notable change for the series' visual direction as it moves into this second arc.
