As The Girl Who Leapt Through Time prepares for its 20th-anniversary 4K revival screenings, fans in Japan will have a unique opportunity to receive temporary arm tattoos that replicate the film's distinctive time leap counter. This iconic visual element, which tracks protagonist Makoto Konno's remaining time leaps, will be given out at participating theaters.

The 4K digital screenings commence on July 3 in 166 theaters across Japan. The time leap counter tattoos will be distributed during the first and third weeks of these screenings. Additionally, special 4DX showings will begin on August 21, also offering the temporary tattoos.

Beyond the arm tattoos, limited-edition mini hand fans will be handed out starting July 13, the day Makoto first leaps through time in the story. These fans will feature artwork depicting a hypothetical summer date between Makoto and Chiaki Mamiya, an image also used for limited advance MoviTicke Cards.
