The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World TV anime has released a new trailer, offering a glimpse at the upcoming series. The trailer also previews the opening theme song "Butterfly" by Inuwasi. Alongside the trailer, the production announced Onkan Lemonade will perform the anime's ending theme, titled "Holy Sweet Home."
More cast members have been revealed for the fantasy series. Sumire Morohoshi will voice Aria, Shinnosuke Tachibana takes on the role of Senon, Shōya Chiba is cast as Ed, and Kaede Hondo will portray Gomamiso. They join previously announced stars Sora Tokui as protagonist Rin Takanashi and Yūki Ono as Vil.
The anime, directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa at EMT Squared, adapts Yoneori's light novel series. Akane Nitou's original character designs are adapted for animation by Izumi Ishii, with series scripts handled by Takashi Aoshima. The story follows Rin Takanashi, a thirty-year-old office worker and camping enthusiast who is summoned as a saint to another world. Deemed useless by the prince, her camper van and survival skills are initially dismissed, but Rin finds they are perfect for her new life. She embarks on a solo camping and cooking journey across the fantasy world, using her skills to summon her dream RV and meeting companions along the way.
The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World is set to premiere in July on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, CBC, and AT-X, with additional streaming platforms to be announced. Kana Utatane is composing the music for the series, with Lantis producing.
