The second full promotional video for The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System anime has revealed that singer ReoNa will perform the series' ending theme song, titled "Lv. 1 Shokugyō: Ningen" (Level 1 Occupation: Human).
Directed by Katsumasa Yokomine with Shingo Suzuki serving as general director, the anime is being produced by GoHands. The story follows Elma Edvan, who, despite his lineage as the son of a Sword Saint, is exiled after manifesting the commonly deemed defective Heavy Knight class. However, Elma realizes this world is the game he once played, and the Heavy Knight class is actually the strongest. He uses his past life's knowledge to navigate his new reality.
The anime features a voice cast including Takeo Ōtsuka as Elma Edvan, Shion Wakayama as Luce Rubis, and Natsuko Abe as Maris Edvan. The opening theme, "Awake," will be performed by SPYAIR.
The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System is set to broadcast for two consecutive cours on TBS and MBS's Super Animeism TURBO block, with its premiere scheduled for July 2nd at 24:26 JST (effectively July 3rd at 12:26 a.m.). The series is adapted from Nekoko's light novel and Brocco Lee's manga adaptation.
