The production team behind The Elusive Samurai has unveiled the musical artist for the series' upcoming second season. The ending theme, titled "Romantic ga Hoshii nara" (If You Wish for Romance), will be performed by Bocchiboromaru, who is joined by three guest vocalists from the idol group Hinatazaka46. A promotional video showcasing the track was released via the show's official social media channels to build anticipation for the July 17 premiere.
Returning to the helm at studio CloverWorks is director Yuta Yamazaki, who continues to adapt Yūsei Matsui's historical manga. The creative team also sees the return of Yasushi Nishiya, who transitions into the role of chief animation director while maintaining character design duties. The series is set to air on the prestigious noitaminA programming block on Fuji TV, with streaming availability confirmed for Prime Video.
