The upcoming anime adaptation of The Duke's Son Claims He Won't Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration has added Ryōhei Kimura and Ryōta Suzuki to its voice cast. Kimura will voice Aleksis Josef Ralt, the crown prince of the Ralt kingdom, while Suzuki takes on the role of Jere Ekrous, an aide to the prince.
The fantasy romance series follows Elsa, the daughter of a disgraced noble, who is surprised by a marriage proposal from the elite nobleman Julius. However, their married life takes a turn when Julius declares he has no intention of loving Elsa, despite his previous kindness.
The anime boasts a notable cast including Yui Ishikawa as Elsa and Sōma Saitō as Julius Royus. Directing the series are Hitoyuki Matsui and Kaoru Suzuki at studios Zero-G and Grass. Tomoko Konparu is handling series scripts, with Yūko Yahiro on character designs and MICHIRU composing the music.
Produced by Avex Pictures and Saber Links, The Duke's Son Claims He Won't Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration is slated to begin airing in July on TV Asahi and BS Asahi. The manga, created by Kei Misawa and Natsu Mizuno, debuted digitally in February 2021, and its fifth volume was released in March.
