The romantic slice-of-life manga The Coppersmith's Bride (Cuprum no Hanayome) is nearing its conclusion. Creator namo announced on social media last Friday that the series will wrap up in three chapters, with the first of these final installments appearing in the October 15 issue of Kadokawa's Harta magazine. If the publication schedule remains on track, the series will officially finish in December.
Since its debut in Harta in May 2020, the story has followed college freshman Shiina as she navigates life and a sudden marriage proposal from her boyfriend, Shuu, a dedicated coppersmith. The narrative explores the challenges of integrating into a traditional smithing family in Niigata Prefecture, balancing the couple's cozy dynamic with the pressures of their future together.
For English-speaking readers, the series has been accessible through J-Novel Club, which released the seventh compiled volume earlier this year in June. Additionally, the manga has been available digitally via Crunchyroll Manga. With the series finale now in sight, readers can look forward to seeing how Shiina and Shuu's journey concludes after more than four years of serialization.
