The broadcast of the May 1 episode for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 has been canceled, according to an announcement from the anime's staff. Unspecified scheduling conflicts are cited as the reason for the postponement.
Instead of the regular episode, BS11 will air a special program on May 2 at 10:00 p.m. JST. This special will feature Miho Okasaki, the voice of protagonist Rimuru Tempest, and presenter Haruka Mori as they recap the season's events and look ahead. The current season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime began airing on April 3 on NTV as part of its "Friday Anime Night" block and is also available on Crunchyroll.
This latest season is slated for a substantial five-cour run, with the first two cours airing consecutively. Animation duties are once again handled by studio 8-Bit, and the opening theme is performed by Eir Aoi with "Esoragoto," while CiON provides the ending theme "Katsubō."
