The upcoming anime Tetsuryou! Meet with Tetsudou Musume has expanded its production details, providing a clearer look at the series ahead of its October 2026 debut. A second promotional video has been released, offering a first listen to the ending theme, "Watashi Miraisen," performed by members of the Tetsuryou Club, including May Tachibana, Hika Tsukishiro, Mao Shouji, and Haruna Fukushima.
Directed by Misuzu Hoshino at East Fish Studio, the series centers on a university student named Misaki who finds a new sense of purpose after being recruited into the Travel Train Club. The project aims to capture the iyashikei spirit, blending the calm atmosphere of slice-of-life storytelling with the niche appeal of railway culture. The creative team is rounded out by series composer Aya Satsuki and character designer Hisanori Hashimoto, with Sounosuke Takao handling the musical score.
The production has confirmed a massive supporting cast to populate the world of the Tetsuryou Club. Notable names joining the project include Asami Seto as Sakie Ashio, Kana Ichinose as Karen Matsukaze, and Misaki Kuno as Miyabi Kinugawa. They are joined by a wide roster of talent, including Yuki Nakashima, Hana Hishikawa, Ayaka Ohashi, and Yurika Kubo, among many others.
As the series prepares for its Fall 2026 release, it positions itself as a character-driven drama focusing on the transition from university uncertainty to the excitement of shared hobbies. By leaning into the 'Cute Girls Doing Cute Things' subgenre, the show intends to provide a relaxing, train-focused journey for viewers.
