The television anime adaptation of Yuu Hibari's romance comedy light novel, Tenkou-saki no Seiso Karen na Bishoujo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osananajimi Datta Ken (also known as Tenko), has released its second main promotional video and a new key visual. The series is set to premiere on July 6, airing late nights on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji.

Additional staff members have been announced for the production. Chuanfeng Xu directs the series at Project No.9, with Deko Akao on series composition and Narumi Kurahashi handling character designs. The production also revealed sub-character design by Shouto Shinkai, art direction by Miu Miyamoto, color design by Miyuki Kohata, cinematography by Kouichi Gonda, CG direction by Toshirou Hamamura, and editing by Nami Niinuma. Sound effects are by Youko Sakurai, with sound production by Bit grooove promotion.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse of the anime's romantic comedy elements, previewing the ending theme "Tilt" performed by the Japanese duo harmoe. The light novel, which began serialization online in June 2020 before its physical release in February 2021, has seen significant success with ten volumes published to date.

A manga adaptation by Kina Oyama also concluded its run in June 2025. The story follows Hayato as he reconnects with his childhood friend, who has transformed from a rough-and-tumble boy into a beautiful and innocent girl, though her old habits resurface around him.
