Tempal: Item no Chikara (Overgeared) is set to premiere in October 2026, with new details revealed during Crunchyroll's Anime Expo 2026 showcase. The adaptation of Saenal Park and Team Argo's action fantasy webtoon unveiled additional cast members Saya Fukuzumi as Euphemia and Shuntarou Takayama as Huroi.
Key staff members were also announced: Yuuki Kobayashi serves as Art Director, Yukiko Itou handles Color Design, and Yuusuke Sakamoto is the Director of Photography. Editing will be managed by Kiyoshi Hirose. The series is directed by Ayako Kouno at J.C.Staff, with Kenta Ihara on series composition and Ryousuke Tanigawa designing the characters. Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music.
A first promotional video and key visual were also presented, offering a glimpse into the anime's world. The original web novel by Saenal Park began serialization in 2014 and concluded in April 2024, with the webtoon adaptation by Team Argo starting in April 2020 on KakaoPage. The series has been published in English by Wuxiaworld and Tapas Media, with Yen Press handling physical releases under its Ize Press imprint.
