Author Teki Yatsuda has officially concluded the production of their suspenseful manga series, Myther, announcing on social media that the final chapter manuscript was submitted this past Tuesday. While the serialization has reached its narrative end, a specific publication date for the concluding chapter has not yet been confirmed.
First serialized in February 2025 via Kodansha’s Getsu Maga Kichi platform, the series explores a near-future Tokyo transformed by "Myther," an AI-driven neural interface developed by the corporation Ideva. The story shifts from a glossy, high-tech societal promise to a dark investigation, centered on Kyo, an agent from the National Special Intelligence Office tasked with uncovering the truth behind a string of brutal murders linked to the device.
International readers will soon have access to the series, as Kodansha USA Publishing has licensed the title for an English release. The first volume is slated to arrive on January 19, 2027. This conclusion follows a steady run for the series, which saw its third compiled volume released in Japan earlier this April.
