The television anime adaptation of Manabu Yashiro's Tank Chair manga has revealed its main cast and a fall 2026 premiere. The series will feature Kōki Uchiyama as Nagi Taira, a powerful assassin left comatose after protecting his sister. Minori Fujidera will voice Nagi's younger sister, Shizuka Taira, who partners with him as the "Tank Chair" assassin.

Further casting includes Gakuto Kajiwara as Naozumi Kurosaka, Nagi's former classmate, and Saori Hayami as Naozumi's sister and partner, Touko Kurosaka. The newly released character promo videos showcase these actors in their roles. The anime's story centers on Shizuka, who takes on dangerous assassination jobs, believing that exposing her comatose brother Nagi to killing intent is the key to his recovery. The combat wheelchair Nagi uses, known as the Tank Chair Mark-1, was also shown in a newly released visual.

Directed by Tadahiro Yoshihira and Hiroaki Ando, with scripts by Ando, the anime is being produced at Polygon Pictures. Yūki Moriyama handles character design, while Masaru Yokoyama composes the music. Kazuma Teshigahara is credited for production design.

The Tank Chair manga, which debuted in November 2022 on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket, moved to Monthly Shonen Sirius in November 2024. Kodansha USA Publishing has licensed the series for English release, with the 10th compiled volume having been released on March 26. The story promises a violent journey as Shizuka battles dangerous foes to help her brother.
