Tai-Ari deshita.: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game nante Shinai has released its main promotional video, offering a glimpse at the upcoming anime adaptation. The video also previews the opening theme song "Inochi Mijikashi Taisuru Otome yo" by Japanese band HANABIE. and the ending theme "NEW GAME" by halca.
The series is set to premiere on July 7, 2026, airing on AT-X, Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS NTV. The supporting cast announced includes Yumiri Hanamori as Hana Ichinose, Nobuyuki Hiyama as Gekidou, Youhei Azakami as Cafe Au Lait, and Taku Yashiro as Seshiro.
Shouta Ibata is directing the anime at Diomedéa, with Wataru Watari handling series composition and Mayuko Matsumoto on character designs. Kana Hashiguchi is composing the music for the adaptation of Eri Ejima's school comedy manga, which began serialization in Monthly Comic Flapper in January 2020. Kadokawa published the tenth volume in December 2025, and Seven Seas Entertainment handles the English license.
