Synduality: Noir is now available to stream on Hulu, complete with an English dub and subtitles. This 12-episode mecha series, produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans and artificial intelligences called Magus must cooperate to survive against monstrous creatures known as Enders.
The story centers on Kanata, a Drifter aiming to become a master, and his Magus companion Noir, who suffers from amnesia. Together, they pilot Coffin mechs, engaging in high-octane battles while seeking to uncover Noir's past and the secrets of the fallen civilization. The series is part of Bandai Namco's larger Synduality multimedia project, which includes games and other media.
Viewers can expect a blend of real robot action and science fiction themes, including AI, lost civilizations, and the struggle for survival. The show's first season concluded in Fall 2023, and a second part, Synduality: Noir Part 2, is slated for release, continuing the narrative.
