The production team behind the upcoming Devils' Crest anime has expanded its cast, announcing four new voice actors for the protagonist's classmates. The additions include Yūsuke Kobayashi as Teruki Sugamo, Maaya Uchida as Aria Misono, Rie Murakawa as Kai Kisanuki, and Sora Amamiya as Sumika Watamaki. These characters join a previously announced ensemble that features Haruka Shiraishi in the lead role of Yuma Ashihara.

Directed by Kenichirō Komaya at Production I.G, with Shinji Ushiro serving as chief director, the series adapts the light novel work of Reki Kawahara. The project features a notable creative team, including series composition by Eiji Umehara and character designs by Yukiko Horiguchi. The musical score is being handled by Yūki Hayashi and Naoyuki Chikatani, while Ado provides the opening theme song, "Shinka."

The story follows a group of sixth graders trapped in a high-stakes VRMMORPG titled Actual Magic, where they must navigate a world filled with monsters and life-or-death challenges. The anime is set for a worldwide debut on Amazon Prime Video on November 6.

While Kawahara is globally recognized for the long-running Sword Art Online franchise, Devils' Crest marks a departure into a different style of survival-game narrative. With the source material currently spanning four volumes in Japan and three in English via Yen Press, the anime arrives as the latest expansion of Kawahara's bibliography, which also includes Accel World and The Isolator: Realization of Absolute Solitude.
