The September issue of Monthly Comic Zenon has confirmed that Suzu Ōmi’s The Girl Past the Filters (Filter Goshi no Kanojo) will conclude its run in the magazine's next installment on August 25. The series, which debuted in April 2022, has been a staple of the publication for over two years, with Coamix releasing its 10th compiled volume this past June.
The story centers on Narumi Hakobe, a high school student who maintains a stoic, emotionless exterior to avoid social friction. His quiet life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers that his favorite social media influencer, Efa, is actually his classmate Koto Mitsuha. The narrative follows their reluctant partnership as Narumi begins assisting Koto with her content creation, balancing his desire for anonymity with the complexities of her online persona.
International readers have been able to follow the series through Yen Press, which published the second English volume in May. Additionally, the manga is available digitally under the title Secret Girl through the Filter via the MangaHot app and website, a platform operated by Coamix and Imagineer.
