The official website for Honoo no Toukyuujo: Dodge Danko has unveiled its supporting cast and main visual ahead of its July 6 premiere. The anime, based on Tetsuhiro Koshita's sequel manga, will broadcast on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 starting at 11:00 p.m. on Mondays.

The newly announced voice cast includes Marina Inoue as Satsuki Takayama, Yurie Kozakai as Kirame Ogata, and Shiori Izawa as Tsuki Usami, among many others. Hiroshi Ikehata is directing the series at Studio Cue, with Kazuho Hyoudou on series composition and Narihito Sekikawa handling character designs.

Honoo no Toukyuujo: Dodge Danko adapts Koshita's team sports manga, which began serialization in Weekly CoroCoro Comic in November 2022. The story follows Danko, daughter of the original Honoo no Toukyuuji: Dodge Danpei protagonist, as she strives to build a strong dodgeball team in the modern era, facing apathy and challenging the spirit of the sport.

The original Honoo no Toukyuuji: Dodge Danpei manga ran from 1989 to 1995. The sequel manga has published six volumes as of August 2025. Source: Comic Natalie(https://natalie.mu/comic/news/577111)
