Originally launched for the PlayStation Portable in 2011, Super Robot Wars Z II: Hakai-hen was the first half of a massive two-part saga that concluded with Saisei-hen in 2012. The series is celebrated for its complex tactical gameplay and its ambitious crossover of iconic mecha franchises, making this remaster a significant development for fans who missed the PSP-era entries.
This announcement follows the momentum of the franchise's most recent entry, Super Robot Wars Y, which arrived in August 2025 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
