The production team behind the upcoming Super Psychic Policeman Chojo anime has released a new promotional video, giving fans their first listen to the series' ending theme, "Mata Ashita" by Shifuku Poncho. The trailer highlights the comedic tone of the series, which follows the eccentric, super-powered police officer Meguru Chojo and his judo-expert partner, Nao Ippongi, as they patrol the streets of Chinjuku.
Directed by Junichi Yamamoto at Arvo Animation, the show is scheduled to begin its broadcast run on October 6 at 11:00 p.m. across Kansai TV, Fuji TV, and their affiliated stations. The series script is being handled by Hayashi Mori, with character designs provided by Masakatsu Sasaki. The opening theme, "That's! Chojo," will be performed by the group M!LK.
While the anime adaptation is just beginning its broadcast, the source material by Shun Numa has already reached its conclusion. Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in February 2024, the manga wrapped up its run in June 2025, with Shueisha releasing the final two compiled volumes last September. For international readers, the series remains available through Viz Media and Shueisha's MANGA Plus platform, with the physical release of the sixth volume slated for November 3.
