The manga adaptation of Suikoden: Star Leap (Gensō Suikoden: Star Leap) has officially reached its conclusion. The final chapter, illustrated by Aki Shimizu, appeared in the October issue of Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper magazine, which hit shelves on September 4. The series had been running since its debut in November 2025.

Based on the Konami mobile game released in Japan this past August, the story follows a village chief's son who embarks on a quest alongside companions Hisui, Shirin, and Shapur after a sudden assault shatters his home. The narrative is positioned within the broader franchise timeline, taking place after the events of Suikoden V but prior to the original 1995 title.

While the manga has wrapped, the franchise remains active on several fronts. Konami recently released the Suikoden I&II HD Remaster across major consoles and PC earlier in 2025. Additionally, the series is expanding into animation, with an adaptation of Suikoden II directed by Yūzō Satō at KONAMI animation slated to debut this October.

With the manga now complete, readers who followed the adaptation may be looking toward the game's international release. While Konami has confirmed a global launch for Suikoden: Star Leap on PC via Steam, an official date for the English-language version remains unannounced.
