CAPCOM has announced that Ingrid will be the next playable character to join the Street Fighter 6 roster. A new gameplay trailer revealed the character's May 28 launch date. Ingrid will be available as part of the game's Year 3 Character Pass.
Ingrid follows Sagat, C. Viper, and Alex, who were previously added to the Year 3 Character Pass. The Year 2 Character Pass included characters like M. Bison, Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, and Elena. The initial wave of DLC fighters for Street Fighter 6 featured Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma.
Street Fighter 6 originally released in June 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A version for the Nintendo Switch 2 also launched on June 5. The game features a diverse roster, including returning icons like Ryu and Chun-li, alongside newcomers such as Jamie.
The title also boasts a real-time commentary feature with multiple languages and commentary from notable figures in the fighting game community, including Thea Trinidad (Zelina Vega) and Kลsuke Hiraiwa.
