The anime adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run has unveiled its second promotional video and additional cast members. The announcements were made during a special panel at Anime Expo 2026.
The first season, adapting the initial stages of the manga, is slated for a worldwide exclusive release on Netflix on September 25. It will feature a total of 11 episodes.
Joining the voice cast are Tomoaki Maeno as Mountain Tim, Youko Hikasa as Hot Pants, and Tomokazu Sugita as Funny Valentine. The anime is directed by Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi, with Toshiyuki Katou serving as series director. David Production, known for its work on previous JoJo seasons, is handling animation. Yasuko Kobayashi is the series composer, Daisuke Tsumagari is in charge of character design and chief animation direction, and Yugo Kanno is composing the music.
Hirohiko Araki's acclaimed manga, Steel Ball Run, originally launched in 2004 and is set in an alternate timeline. As one of the top-rated anime on MyAnimeList with a score of 9.13 from over 96,000 voters, the series' adaptation carries significant expectations.
