Voice actor Jock Blaney, best known for his iconic portrayal of Wolf O'Donnell in the Nintendo 64 classic Star Fox 64, has died at the age of 76. Blaney passed away peacefully in his sleep at his Las Vegas home on March 19.
Born June 21, 1949, Blaney's career extended beyond the Star Fox universe. He provided voices for numerous other video games, including titles such as Professor Layton, Alien vs Predator, No One Lives Forever, and F.E.A.R. His versatile talents also found him working in radio and television production.
Blaney is survived by his brother, daughter, three grandsons, niece, and a circle of close friends. His contributions to gaming, particularly his memorable performance as the antagonist Wolf O'Donnell, will be remembered by fans of the franchise.
