Star Detective Precure!, the latest installment in the long-running magical girl franchise, has updated its promotional materials with a fresh ending theme and new character designs. The production team released a preview video showcasing the track 'Itsuka Wakaru ☆ Kitto Aeru,' performed by the duo Akane Kumada and Yūka Masui, which replaces the series' previous ending song.
Alongside the musical update, the staff unveiled new 'Star Kiraring' forms for the main quartet: Cure Answer, Cure Mystic, Cure Eclair, and the newly introduced Cure Arcana. Voiced by Nao Tōyama, Cure Arcana (Ruruka Moria) joins the existing roster of detectives as they continue their mission to thwart the Phantom Thieves. Additionally, a special visual highlighting the 'Future Form' of Cure Answer has been released to build anticipation for the upcoming theatrical feature, Eiga Meitantei Precure!, which is set to premiere in Japan on September 18.
Since its premiere on February 1, the series has followed the time-traveling adventures of Anna Akechi and her partner, Mikuru Kobayashi, as they use their detective skills to protect the residents of Makoto Mirai Town. The anime remains available for international viewers via Crunchyroll, covering territories across North and South America, Europe, Africa, and beyond. With the addition of the new character forms and the impending film release, the narrative stakes for the Precure team continue to climb as they navigate their dual lives as middle school students and mystery-solving warriors.
