Toei Animation's Star Detective Precure! is engaging fans in a unique way by allowing them to deduce the secret identity of the upcoming new hero, Cure Eclair. This interactive campaign is a fresh twist on the series' tradition of introducing a new Pretty Cure member partway through the season.
The anime's staff revealed that four characters will be presented as potential candidates for Cure Eclair. Viewers will see Eriza Kurusu, voiced by Riko Akechi, Shiruku Ieiri, voiced by Natsumi Murakami, Kurea Howa, voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa, and Rei Kaneda, voiced by Lynn, featured in preceding episodes. These episodes, airing June 14, June 28, July 5, and July 12 respectively, will provide clues leading up to Cure Eclair's official debut on July 19.
Fans have multiple avenues to cast their votes. An online poll is available on the anime's official website from June 21 at 9:00 a.m. to July 19 at 8:00 a.m. Japan time, allowing one vote per day. Additionally, in-person voting opportunities are available at various locations across Japan, including Precure Pretty Stores in Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, Koshigaya Lake Town, and Nagoya, as well as pop-up events and the Toei Animation Museum. Those who vote in person will receive a special 'Poll Registration Certificate' card.
