The web novel and webtoon SSS-Class Revival Hunter is set for an anime adaptation arriving in January 2027. A newly launched official website confirmed the project, accompanied by a teaser trailer that introduces the series' high-stakes tower-climbing premise. Crunchyroll has secured the rights to stream the series, with availability confirmed for most regions outside of Asia, including the Indian subcontinent, Singapore, and the Philippines.

Production is underway at Studio fu, with Hiroaki Sakurai, known for his direction on The Demon Girl Next Door, leading the project. The series script is being penned by Sayuri Ōba, while character designs are handled by Takahiro Yoshimatsu, whose previous work includes Trigun. The voice cast features Takeo Ōtsuka as the protagonist Gongja Kim, alongside Satoshi Hino as the Sword Emperor.

Based on the original 2018 web novel by Sinnoa and the 2020 webtoon by Neida, the story follows F-rank hunter Gongja Kim as he acquires a rare, death-dependent S-rank skill. While the webtoon is currently available in English via Tapas, this adaptation marks the first time the franchise will be presented in an animated format. With the premiere window set for early 2027, the production team faces the challenge of adapting the webtoon's distinct visual style for television.
