The concluding chapter of the Sound! Euphonium film series, Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 2, has released its full trailer featuring English subtitles. The newly posted trailer also showcases the film's final key visual.
Directed by Taichi Ogawa with Tatsuya Ishihara as Chief Director, the film is animated by Kyoto Animation. Jukki Hanada returns to write the screenplay, which promises newly created scenes and performance sequences not seen in the television series, aiming to provide a definitive theatrical conclusion to the beloved concert band drama.
The first part of The Final Movie project opened on April 24, with Part 2 scheduled for release in Japan on September 11. The franchise, which began with a TV anime in 2015, has spanned multiple seasons, compilation films, and original movies, including Liz and the Blue Bird and Sound! Euphonium The Movie - Our Promise: A Brand New Day, culminating in the Ensemble Contest Arc film in 2023 and the third TV season in spring 2024.
